What We Collect

When you use CreatorMake, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and content you create within the platform. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and device/browser information to improve the service.

How We Use It

We use your information to provide and improve CreatorMake, personalise your experience, send service-related communications (such as welcome emails and password resets), and analyse usage patterns to make the platform better. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Neon PostgreSQL in the UK (London). We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Backups are maintained to ensure data integrity and availability.

Third Parties

We use the following third-party services to operate CreatorMake:

• Sentry error monitoring and performance tracking
• PostHog product analytics (no session recording; on-screen text is masked)
• Resend transactional email delivery
• Anthropic AI-powered content generation features
• Groq backup AI provider, and transcription of voice answers you record in the interview (recordings are not stored)
• Stripe payment processing and subscription billing
• Cloudflare DNS, email forwarding and file storage (R2)
• Brave Search web search for niche research; your niche and content themes are sent as search terms
• Google sign-in, if you choose Continue with Google
• Neon database hosting
• Vercel website hosting
• Upstash rate limiting, to protect sign-in and other actions from abuse

Each provider processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies and our data processing agreements.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. We retain only your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and plan tier for the purpose of managing your account. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Access request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Deletion request that we delete your personal data
• Portability receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Rectification request correction of inaccurate data
• Objection object to processing of your data for certain purposes

Cookie Policy

CreatorMake uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

• Essential cookies required for authentication and core functionality
• Analytics cookies (PostHog) help us understand how you use the platform
• Monitoring cookies (Sentry) help us detect and fix errors

You can decline analytics via our cookie consent banner. If you decline, PostHog stops collecting analytics. On the public pages, PostHog may record an anonymous page view before you choose. If you're signed in and haven't chosen yet, analytics are treated as accepted until you decline. Error monitoring (Sentry) keeps running because it helps us keep the service working; it does not record what you type.
